This Hazy IPA offers a lush, sensory-forward experience, defined by its Oat Cream construction. The addition of flaked oats and milk sugar creates a pillowy, soft foundation that carries an intense hop profile. Galaxy and Mosaic hops take center stage, delivering a vibrant spectrum of tropical fruit, ripe citrus, and a hint of resinous dankness. Fermented with a house expressive yeast, the beer balances fruity esters with a clean, bready malt backbone. The result is a creamy, juicy profile that transitions from sweet pineapple and mango to a subtle, earthy finish, epitomizing the modern, velvety approach to the Hazy IPA style.
Appearance. Straw to light orange (4-6 SRM). Opaque, uniform haze with a luminous shine. Pours with a thick, meringue-like white head that shows excellent retention and leaves consistent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring passion fruit and citrus from Galaxy, coupled with the blueberry and tropical notes of Mosaic. A distinct resinous or dank quality persists. Background notes of bready malt and sweet cream are supported by fruity yeast esters.
Taste. Bold tropical fruit flavors lead, emphasizing mango, guava, and stone fruit. The flaked oats provide a grainy, bready sweetness, while milk sugar adds a subtle creamy roundness. Hop bitterness is moderate but soft, never harsh. Finishes off-dry with lingering fruit and a clean, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creamy, silky texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the fluffy sensation without being prickly. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated. No astringency.
