Grizzly Brewing One More Day
One More Day is a sun-yellow Hazy IPA that captures a tropical voyage in a glass. The grist, featuring flaked oats and flaked wheat alongside barley malt, creates an opaque, luminous appearance and a silky-smooth foundation. High-intensity aromas of lychee, pineapple, and passion fruit are driven by a complex hop blend of Citra, Sabro, Ekuanot, and Simcoe, complemented by subtle herbal and orange notes. Fermented with London Fog yeast, the beer offers a soft, ester-forward profile. The palate follows the nose with a surge of tropical fruit and a restrained bitterness, leading to a long, lush finish that remains remarkably drinkable.
Appearance. Sun-yellow color (approx 4 SRM). Opaque clarity with a luminous shine. Pours with a generous, rocky, meringue-like white head exhibiting high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity of tropical fruit including lychee, pineapple, and passion fruit. Complementary notes of fresh orange and a subtle herbal, green character. Low bready malt in the background with fruity yeast esters supportive of the hops.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the tropical and citrus aroma profile. Initial impression is fresh and fruit-forward with low to medium-high bitterness that feels soft on the palate. Grainy, bready malt provides a solid base. Finishes off-dry and smooth with a long, fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, silky texture derived from flaked grains. Moderate carbonation. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Smooth without any harshness or astringency.
