This modern American IPA showcases a vibrant hop profile against a lean, elegant backdrop of Pilsner malt. Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a pale gold color (approx. 6 SRM). Supports a tall, persistent white head with fine beads and excellent lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma dominated by tropical guava, passionfruit, and distinct blueberry. Supporting hints of resinous pine and light citrus. Clean, low grainy-sweet pilsner malt aroma. Fermentation profile is neutral with no diacetyl.
Taste. Initial punch of tropical fruit and berry. Nelson Sauvin provides white grape and guava, while Mosaic adds layers of ripe blueberry. Simcoe contributes a balancing piney earthiness. Bitterness is medium-high (approx. 60 IBU) but smooth. Low grainy malt flavor. Finishes very dry and clean with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Moderate-high carbonation provides a refreshing bite. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. No astringency.
