This ruby-colored ale is crowned by a dense, distinctive pink foam that releases intense fragrances of ripe red fruit and strawberries. The sensory profile is deepened by signature Belgian yeast esters, offering clear notes of clove and a subtle peppery spiciness. Appearance. A vibrant ruby color (SRM 15–20) with a unique, rich, and dense pink-tinted head that shows excellent retention and fine lacing. The body is generally clear with a subtle brilliance.
Aroma. High intensity of sweet red fruit and strawberries, seamlessly integrated with spicy Belgian yeast phenols reminiscent of clove. Low bready malt notes are present in the background, with negligible hop aroma to allow the fruit and fermentation esters to dominate.
Taste. The initial impression is fruit-forward and bittersweet, featuring prominent strawberry and mixed red berry flavors. A firm spicy character follows, specifically clove and light pepper. Malt flavors are soft and bready. Bitterness is low, serving only to balance the residual fruit sweetness. The finish is clean and refreshing with a lingering red fruit and spice aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-bodied with moderate to high carbonation that enhances the refreshing quality. Alcohol warmth is very low and well-integrated at 6%. It possesses a smooth, creamy texture from the dense head and lacks any significant astringency.
