Grensgeval 44 boven NAP is an award-winning Belgian Blond Ale that captures a sunny, approachable character with refined depth. This golden-hued ale leads with a gentle, grainy-sweet malt foundation reminiscent of fresh crackers and a touch of floral honey. The yeast profile introduces elegant notes of lemon zest and orange peel, punctuated by a delicate peppery spice. Uniquely dry-hopped, it elevates the traditional profile with a bright, aromatic lift that remains perfectly in balance with its soft malt backbone. Clean and highly drinkable, it concludes with a crisp, dry finish and a lingering, subtle warmth that invites another sip.

Appearance. Deep gold color (5 SRM). Brilliant clarity with a large, dense, creamy white head exhibiting excellent retention and classic Belgian lacing.

Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring grainy-sweet malt with a hint of honey. Esters are predominantly citrusy, leaning toward lemon and orange. A subtle peppery phenol provides spicy complexity, while the dry-hopping adds a fresh, floral, and slightly earthy hop presence.

Taste. Initial impression of soft, grainy-sweet malt followed by faint honey-like sweetness. Medium-low bitterness ensures a malt-forward balance. Yeast-derived flavors of orange zest and white pepper are prominent. The hop flavor is earthy and floral, complementing the fermentation character. Finishes medium-dry, smooth, and clean.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with medium-high to high carbonation, creating a lively, bubbly sensation. Features a slight creaminess and a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Smooth and refreshing.
