Great Notion Brewing

Easy Lift is a quintessential West Coast-style American IPA that captures a vibrant, modern hop profile. The sensory experience is led by assertive resinous pine and zesty grapefruit notes driven by Cascade and Simcoe hops, providing a nostalgic and refreshing foundation. This classic character is elevated by a punchy, tropical fruit and subtle berry-forward boost from Mosaic, adding layers of complexity to the bouquet. It pours crystal clear with a brilliant golden hue and a persistent white head. A clean, lean malt backbone ensures the hop bitterness remains the focal point, finishing crisp and dry on the palate for high drinkability.

Appearance. Medium gold (8 SRM); brilliant clarity; medium-sized, white head with excellent persistence and fine lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring bright grapefruit zest, resinous pine, and a subtle blueberry and mango undertone. Malt is low and clean with a hint of cracker-like sweetness; fermentation profile is neutral with no significant esters.

Taste. Initial impression is an assertive citrus and pine hop flavor followed by light tropical fruit notes. High bitterness is clean and firm, balancing a low, grainy malt character. The profile is decidedly hop-forward, finishing very dry and crisp with a lingering resinous and citrus peel aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, crisp texture; medium-high carbonation; no astringency; very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
