Gravity Well Brewing Co

Stellar Balance is a vibrant Hazy IPA that exemplifies a soft, juicy profile driven by a distinct trio of New Zealand hops. The aroma is dominated by the bold tropicality of Nectaron, offering intense bursts of passionfruit and pineapple, while Wai-iti provides elegant notes of ripe peach and apricot. Wakatu adds a refreshing lime zest and floral top note. On the palate, a pillowy malt base of flaked grains supports a low, smooth bitterness and a fruit-forward finish. This medium-bodied ale balances high fruit intensity with a clean, pillowy mouthfeel, making for a highly drinkable, modern hop expression.

Appearance. Straw to light amber (4–6 SRM). Opaque haze with a luminous shine; no visible particulates. Dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring passionfruit, pineapple, and stone fruits like peach and apricot. Subtle lime and floral notes emerge in the background. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light bready character without caramel or toast. Fermentation is clean with supportive fruity esters.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with heavy tropical and stone fruit notes. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is smooth and never harsh. Malt flavor is low, primarily bready and grainy. The finish is off-dry and soft, with a lingering juicy fruit character and no sharp alcohol or hop burn.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, pillowy texture. Moderate carbonation. Very smooth mouthfeel with no astringency. Light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
