Relativistic Beaming is a lush Hazy IPA that captures an immersive tropical profile through its 'smoothie-like' texture. The aromatic intensity is driven by a complex hop quartet: Citra and Simcoe provide a foundational punch of bright citrus zest and underlying resinous passionfruit, while Sabro introduces a distinctively creamy coconut essence. Nelson Sauvin elevates the profile with sophisticated notes of crushed white grapes and gooseberry. This New England style IPA balances its full-bodied, flaked-grain malt character with a soft, restrained bitterness, resulting in a juicy, pillowy mouthfeel that emphasizes fruit-forward saturation over hop harshness, finishing with a clean, fruit-flecked linger.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM) with an opaque, luminous haze and a brilliant white, meringue-like head that exhibits exceptional retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High-intensity hop aroma featuring dominant waves of mango, pineapple, and creamy coconut, accompanied by white wine esters and a subtle piney undertone. Background malt is neutral and bready with no caramel presence.
Taste. Explosive fruit-juice flavors of orange, tropical stone fruit, and coconut. The malt provides a soft, grainy sweetness that buffers the moderate bitterness. Fermentation esters are supportive and fruity, leading to an off-dry, silky finish where the hop oils coat the palate without being sharp or astringent.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is moderate, providing enough lift to prevent heaviness. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated at 6.7% ABV.
