Light Echo is a vibrant American Pale Ale that leans into the lush, modern textures of the New England tradition. The sensory experience is dominated by a complex hop bouquet; Mosaic delivers distinct notes of ripe blueberries and tropical mango, while Azacca adds layers of bright pineapple and tangerine. Idaho 7 rounds out the profile with a subtle resinous pine and stone fruit depth. Despite its sessionable strength, the beer offers a rich, velvety body that supports a moderate bitterness. It finishes clean with a lingering citrus zest, balancing the soft malt backbone against a persistent, fruity hop presence.
Appearance. Pale gold to deep gold (6-7 SRM). Features a persistent, dense white head with excellent lacing. Displays a prominent, uniform haze characteristic of the New England style.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma. Mosaic provides bold tropical fruit and berry notes. Azacca contributes intense pineapple and citrus, while Idaho 7 adds hints of red grapefruit and a slight dank pine. Low grainy-sweet malt provides a neutral base. Esters are low, blending seamlessly with the hop fruitiness.
Taste. The flavor leads with a burst of tropical fruit and citrus. Moderate bitterness is well-integrated and smooth. Mosaic yields mango and earthy berry; Azacca offers mango and orchard fruit; Idaho 7 brings a subtle black tea and pine edge. Low crackery malt sweetness supports the hops. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering tropical aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body, notably richer and more substantial than a standard pale ale. Carbonation is moderate. Smooth, creamy texture throughout with no astringency. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth.
