Cervezas Granizo

This vibrant Double IPA centers its intense profile around the multi-faceted Mosaic hop, utilized here in concentrated Lupomax form to showcase its full spectrum of qualities. The sensory journey begins with an explosion of ripe blueberry, sweet mango, and dank pine. Beneath this bright, tropical refraction, a soft, creamy wheat and oat malt base supports the hop intensity without adding heavy sweetness. The palate is treated to a bold wash of passion fruit, citrus zest, and resinous undertones, culminating in a smooth, beautifully integrated bitterness and a subtle, warming finish that highlights this craft creation.

Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (7 SRM) with a thick, dense, persistent off-white head that leaves heavy lacing. Opaque, uniform haze.

Aroma. Intense hop aroma dominated by modern New World character, featuring prominent notes of sweet blueberry, ripe mango, passion fruit, and tangerine. Background notes of resinous pine and subtle damp earth. Low, neutral, bready malt support in the background with a clean fermentation profile and a well-integrated, gentle alcohol note.

Taste. Initial wave of intense tropical fruit flavor, matching the aroma with rich blueberry, passion fruit, and citrus zest. Low, supportive, soft bready malt flavor. Hop bitterness is moderately high but soft and rounded, presenting no harshness. Finishes medium-dry with a clean, lingering tropical and resinous hop aftertaste and a smooth, warming alcohol presence.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a remarkably soft, smooth, and velvety creaminess. Carbonation is moderate. No hop-derived astringency or burn, carrying a well-integrated and pleasant alcohol warmth.
