This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant, juice-forward profile defined by an intensive hop blend of Citra, Galaxy, Eclipse, and Mosaic. The sensory experience is lead by a massive bouquet of tropical passionfruit and ripe mango from the Galaxy, layered with bright citrus zest and sweet mandarin notes from the Citra and Eclipse. Mosaic contributes complex undertones of mixed berries and a whisper of earthy pine. The palate is exceptionally soft and pillowy, supported by a neutral, grainy malt base. It concludes with a restrained, smooth bitterness and a lingering tropical fruit finish that exemplifies the modern, lush character of the style.
Appearance. Deep gold with an orange hue (6 SRM); opaque with a luminous haze and no visible particulates. Features a persistent, rocky, meringue-like white head with high retention and thick lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by tropical fruit (passionfruit, guava) and citrus (tangerine, lime). A light bready, grainy malt character sits in the background. Clean fermentation profile with supportive fruity esters and no alcohol harshness.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor of mango, melon, and citrus zest. Low malt flavor providing a crackery foundation. Bitterness is medium-low and well-masked by the soft body, leading to an off-dry, juicy finish without any sharp or harsh resinous notes.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, smooth, and rounded texture. Moderate carbonation. Exhibits a very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth without any astringency or hop burn.
