On the palate, the high bitterness is firm but refined, allowing layers of tropical stone fruit and citrus zest to shine without being overshadowed by heavy malts. A lean, supportive grain bill ensures a dry, crisp finish, while the elevated alcohol provides a smooth, well-integrated warmth. Appearance. Deep gold to light copper (approx. 8–12 SRM) with a persistent, creamy off-white head that leaves significant lacing. Clarity is high, though a faint, hop-induced haze is acceptable.
Aroma. Intense and multifaceted hop aroma; Citra provides sharp notes of lime and grapefruit, while Mosaic contributes complex tropical mango, blueberry, and a hint of dank resin. Malt is neutral and understated, with a clean fermentation profile and a very soft, spicy alcohol note.
Taste. Dominated by a powerful hop presence mirroring the aroma—bright citrus and tropical fruit punch. Bitterness is high and assertive but lacks harshness, balanced by a light, bready malt backbone. The finish is decisively dry and clean, leaving a lingering impression of hop resins and pithy citrus.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth texture. Carbonation is moderate-high, providing a crisp bite. A noticeable but well-restrained alcohol warmth is present, enhancing the beer's substantial character without being solventy or harsh.
