This elegant Saison captures the spirit of a sparkling farmhouse ale with its bright, effervescent character. Wine barrel-aging imparts a sophisticated layer of creamy vanilla and soft oak, beautifully complementing the abundance of hand-zested orange peel. The aroma is a vibrant bouquet of citrus tartness and spicy white pepper, typical of the expressive Belgian yeast. On the palate, it is remarkably crisp and refreshing, mimicking the dry, lively finish of fine Champagne. The interplay between the rustic grainy malt and the refined barrel influence creates a complex yet approachable profile, ending with a clean, lingering citrus brightness.

Appearance. Pale gold (approx 5-7 SRM) with a brilliant to slightly hazy clarity; features a large, billowy, long-lasting white head with dense Belgian lacing.

Aroma. High intensity of citrusy orange peel and spicy white pepper esters; secondary notes include soft vanilla, toasted oak, and a low, grainy malt sweetness with a hint of floral hops.

Taste. Initial impression of citrus tartness and zesty orange, followed by a mid-palate of spicy phenol resembling white pepper. Low grainy malt flavor supports the dry profile. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated. The finish is exceptionally dry, clean, and refreshing with a lingering creamy vanilla and oak character.
