Magic Gardens is a focused American IPA that showcases the multifaceted nature of Mosaic hops. A base of Extra Pale and Vienna malts provides a clean, subtly bready foundation with a touch of body from Cara pils, allowing the single-hop profile to shine. The sensory experience is dominated by vibrant layers of sweet mango, citrus, and stone fruit, balanced by nuanced notes of fresh cut grass and resinous pine. With its clean fermentation profile from US-05 yeast and a crisp, lingering bitterness, this brew offers a modern take on the style that is both complex and exceptionally drinkable.
Appearance. Medium gold (7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves decorative lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent mango and apricot stone fruit, followed by grapefruit citrus. Subtle notes of fresh-cut grass and pine resin emerge over a low, grainy-sweet malt background. Clean fermentation profile with no esters.
Taste. Intense hop flavors of tropical mango and orange citrus lead the palate, supported by a light bready malt character. Firm hop bitterness is present and assertive, leading to a dry, clean finish with a lingering resinous and fruity aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, soft texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a crisp bite. Alcohol warmth is very light and well-integrated.
