Prime is a quintessential Hazy IPA that exemplifies the juicy New England style with its vibrant, opaque presentation. The sensory journey is led by a heavy dry-hop presence of Citra and Amarillo, delivering a concentrated burst of tangerine, grapefruit, and ripe peach. A light, grainy malt backbone provides a structural foundation without distracting from the hop intensity. On the palate, the bitterness is remarkably restrained, allowing the plush, soft textures to shine. It concludes with a mildly dry, clean finish that masks its strength, offering a refreshing and approachable balance of tropical complexity and smooth drinkability.
Appearance. Pale gold to light amber with a dense, opaque haze and a luminous shine. It supports a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aromatics featuring bright citrus peel, mango, and stone fruit. Background notes of bready malt and neutral yeast esters are present, with an absence of caramel, toast, or alcohol heat.
