Reflecting the Belgian heritage of Brasserie des Légendes, it leads with a rich amber character where toasted malt and subtle caramel notes provide a sturdy foundation. The aromatic profile is defined by distinct peppery phenols and a bouquet of garden herbs, suggesting a sophisticated spice addition or a characterful yeast strain. At 7% ABV, it offers a gentle, supportive warmth suitable for the season. The finish is characterized by a mild, clean bitterness that tempers the initial sweetness, resulting in a complex yet highly drinkable festive ale.

Appearance. Pours a deep amber to copper-orange (SRM 14-17) with brilliant clarity. Features a substantial, frothy, and persistent off-white head that leaves thick lacing on the glass.

Aroma. Moderate to high intensity featuring toasted malt, light caramel, and honey. Distinctive spicy notes of black pepper and savory herbs are prominent, complemented by subtle dark fruit esters like plum and raisin. Hop character is low and earthy.

Taste. Initial malt sweetness evokes toasted bread and nutty caramel. This is quickly balanced by herbal and peppery flavors that provide a dry, spicy complexity. Bitterness is low to moderate, serving to restrain the malt without becoming aggressive. The fermentation character is clean but spicy, finishing medium-dry with a lingering note of peppery spice and smooth malt.
