Gold Dot Beer’s Export Lager elevates the classic Helles profile with increased strength and a distinctively crisp, sparkling finish. Brewed with pristine glacier water, it offers a sophisticated mineral roundness that enhances its refined carbonation. The aroma presents a balanced bouquet of grainy-sweet Pilsner malt and nuanced herbal and floral notes from premium imported hops. On the palate, a smooth, bready malt foundation is met with a firm, drying bitterness that distinguishes it from a standard Helles. This German Helles Exportbier is exceptionally clean and remarkably dry, leaving a refreshing, flinty, and flint-sharp impression after every sip.
Appearance. Brilliant clarity with a deep gold hue (approximately 5 SRM). Topped by a dense, persistent white foam head that leaves intricate lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate intensity featuring a clean, grainy-sweet malt presence with hints of fresh bread and dough. Complemented by medium-low floral and spicy hop notes. Fermentation is impeccably clean with no esters or diacetyl.
Taste. Initial impression of smooth, grainy malt sweetness quickly transitions into a balanced interplay of herbal hop flavor and moderate bitterness. The mineral-rich water profile provides a round palate and a sharp, dry, flinty finish. The aftertaste is clean, featuring a brief, lingering note of bready malt and noble hops.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a crisp, sparkling sensation driven by high carbonation. Very smooth and mellow on the palate, with a subtle, well-integrated alcohol warmth characteristic of its 5.6% ABV.
