Metallic Blue Ones is a vibrant American Pale Ale that showcases the synergy between Citra Cryo and Idaho 7 hops. The concentrated use of Citra Cryo delivers intense layers of pink grapefruit and lime zest, while the Idaho 7 provides a foundational lushness of ripe mango and apricot with a whisper of resinous pine. Though styled as a petite IPA, its approachable strength ensures a drinkable experience. The malt profile is lean and bready, serving as a clean canvas for the modern, tropical hop expression. It finishes crisp with a soft, lingering citrus brightness and an inviting, hazy glow.
Appearance. Pale golden (6 SRM); moderately large white head with good retention and light lacing; hazy clarity with a soft matte glow.
Aroma. High hop intensity featuring prominent notes of grapefruit, mango, and apricot; low bready maltiness supports the fruit-forward profile; clean fermentation with very low fruity esters.
