GOAL Alpine To The BLVD

The second collaboration for Saturday’s anniversary celebration is another West Coast IPA, but co-produced with Shawn McIlhenney of McIlhenney Brewing in Alpine, California.

Alpine to The Blvd name and art was inspired by the many trips Derek and Shawn have taken to connect with each other over more than a decade of friendship. A familiar view driving West from Alpine on Hwy 8 at Sunset. We are thankful for all of the amazing vibes and support the Mcilhenney family has given us.

For this iteration of the style, we added a little more color and malt flavor than our typical WC IPA offerings.  Also similar to our collab with Pure, we incorporated hand selected hops from the collaborating brewing. “Alpine to The Blvd” has a hop combo of our Citra and their Nectaron, the latter being a New Zealand variety that has intense pineapple notes with undertones of passion fruit and Sauvignon Blanc grapes.
