This California-style take on a German Pils radiates with a vibrant modern hop profile. Utilizing the classic Comet hop, the sensory experience is led by intense waves of white grapefruit and zesty mandarin, layered over tropical notes of bright pineapple and juicy apricot. The foundation remains true to a German Pils, featuring a lean, cracker-like malt base and a clean, lager-pure finish. It is exceptionally crisp and dry, with a firm bitterness that balances the slightly elevated 6% ABV. Sungrazer delivers a brilliant, refreshing character that bridges old-school lager precision with bold, contemporary American hop expression.

Appearance. Brilliant straw to light gold (2-4 SRM). Pours with a dense, creamy white head with excellent retention and delicate lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring prominent white grapefruit, mandarin peel, and apricot. Subtle notes of pineapple and resin. Background malt character is low, suggestive of fresh cracker or toasted dough. Exceptionally clean fermentation profile with no detectable esters.

Taste. Initial crisp, grainy malt sweetness is immediately overtaken by a sharp, citrusy hop punch. Flavors of grapefruit pith and juicy mandarin dominate, followed by a stone fruit mid-palate. High bitterness that is firm but not harsh, leading into a bone-dry, refreshing finish. Aftertaste is lingering and hop-centric with a clean lager character.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a brisk, high carbonation that enhances the crispness. Very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth. Refreshing with a slight minerally snap on the finish.
