A luminous American Pale Ale that leans into modern New Zealand hop artistry. This white gold brew presents a ghostly, spectral haze, built on a foundation of extra light malt and silky oats. The aroma is led by a vibrant blend of Citra and Nelson Sauvin, delivering an ethereal mix of crushed gooseberries, white wine grapes, and bright lime zest. On the palate, the oats provide a soft, pillowy texture that carries waves of tropical fruit and soft resin. It finishes clean and dry, with a gentle, supportive bitterness that beckons another sip of this bright, philanthropic pint.
Appearance. Pale, luminous white gold (4-6 SRM). Topped by a thick, persistent white head with fine lacing. Characterized by a distinct, spectral haze from the oat addition.
Aroma. Moderately high intensity. Dominated by hop-forward notes of Sauvignon Blanc grapes and passionfruit from the Nelson Sauvin, complemented by Citra’s grapefruit and lime peel. Low, neutral grainy maltiness with a hint of oat-driven creaminess. Clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Bright tropical fruit and citrus lead the palate, specifically grape and zesty lemon. The malt is minimalist and cracker-like, allowing the hops to shine. Bitterness is moderate and well-integrated. Finishes dry and crisp with a lingering floral and fruity aftertaste.
