This Hazy IPA offers a lush sensory experience driven by a sophisticated hop profile and a soft grain bill. The use of Big O malted oats and chit wheat produces a plush, medium-full body that carries intense aromas of fresh-cut nectarine and mango fruit strap. A complex layered addition of Mosaic provides deep tropical notes, while a heavy dry hop of Galaxy, Peacharine, and Rakau delivers a burst of juicy peach and stone fruit. The palate transitions into a unique finish of ripe strawberries and whipped cream, balanced by a gentle bitterness and a vibrant, mango-yellow appearance.
Appearance. Bright yellow color (4-5 SRM) with a hazy, opaque shine. Topped with a dense, cadmium white, meringue-like head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma dominated by fresh-cut nectarine, mango fruit strap, and juicy peach. Background malt is clean, bready, and grainy; no caramel or toast. Fermentation is clean and neutral.
Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with mango puree, nectarine, and peach. Low to medium-low perceived bitterness that is soft and never harsh. Finishes with a unique note of ripe strawberries and whipped cream. Malt is supportive and grainy. Off-dry finish with no alcohol harshness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, plush texture from the oats and wheat. Moderate carbonation. Smooth and creamy with light, well-integrated alcohol warmth and no astringency.
