The sensory experience is uniquely elevated by Adeena and Lorien hops, which introduce delicate layers of fresh mown hay, wildflowers, and a subtle brightness of lemon and pine. It remains a smooth, easy-drinking English-style ale, blending the rustic charm of a village pub with contemporary hop zest for a light yet highly flavorful character.
Appearance. Deep copper to light mahogany (15-20 SRM) with clear clarity. Pours with a low, creamy off-white head that leaves light lacing on the glass.
Aroma. Moderate malt intensity featuring notes of biscuit, toffee, and malted milk. The hop character is distinct for the style, offering floral wildflower notes, lemon zest, and a hint of herbal hay. Low fruity esters of pear or apple.
Taste. Initial impression is malty and sweet, showcasing bready and caramel flavors derived from the malt bill. Hop flavor is moderate, presenting pine and lemon zest from the Adeena and Lorien hops.
