Wave Upon Wave is a vibrant Hazy IPA that showcases a masterful marriage of modern hops and classic New England yeast character. Utilizing the expressive Vermont ale yeast, this 7% ABV pour radiates with intense aromas of ripe stone fruit and tropical berries. The specific dry-hop blend of Loral, Comet, and Mosaic delivers a complex layering of floral notes, citrus zest, and earthy blueberry undertones. A heavy addition of oats creates a plush, silk-like texture that carries the juicy hop flavors across the palate with minimal bitterness, finishing with a soft, rounded sweetness and a lingering citrus punch.

Appearance. Pours a glowing, opaque pale gold (approx 5 SRM) with a thick, meringue-like white head that demonstrates exceptional retention and leaves dense lacing. The beer possesses a characteristic hazy shine without any visible particulate.

Aroma. High intensity of tropical and stone fruit esters. The Mosaic hops lead with notes of blueberry and mango, supported by the floral and herbal accents of Loral. Comet adds a distinctive citrus and wild grapefruit edge. Background malt is subtly bready and grainy, while the Vermont ale yeast contributes a ripe peach and apricot fermentation profile.

Taste. Massive fruity hop flavors mirror the aroma, featuring a medley of tropical fruit, tangerine, and soft floral notes. The malt presents as a light, doughy breadiness that supports the hops without adding sweetness. Bitterness is restrained and smooth, never harsh. The finish is soft and slightly juicy, with a lingering note of citrus oils and stone fruit.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable silkiness and plush texture derived from the heavy use of oats. Carbonation is moderate and supportive. Alcohol presence is very well-integrated, providing only a faint, pleasant warmth. Completely free of astringency or hop burn.

Aunque sus orígenes apenas se remontan 5 años ha (2015), los barceloneses Garage Beer Co ya se pueden considerar como uno de los puntales del movimiento craft nacional. Desde que en el 2015 se instalaran como un BrewPub en el barcelonés barrio del Eixample, se han situado como avanzadilla de la vanguardia birrera. Su crecimiento en los primeros años fue tan exponencial que, enseguida, en el 2017, ampliaron su producción con la construcción de una fábrica en Sant Andreu. Actualmente, ya figuran en un selecto grupo de breweries a nivel europeo. También lideran las tendencias del lúpulo y promueven festivales punteros como el Mash, donde participan los mejores cerveceras europeas y americanas. Y no nos hemos recuperado de la sacudida de lúpulo de la anterior IPA de Garage, cuando una nueva ola lupulada nos pasa por encima. Wave Upon Wave se deja mecer por las tendencias y ritmos del mercado y entre la espuma nos trae una NEIPA de 7%. Se trata de una cerveza de cuerpo contundente y denso, aportado por su carga de avena y lupulada con Loral, Comet y Mosaic.
