Garage Beer Co

This Hazy IPA pours with a lush, opaque glow, presenting an olfactory explosion of tropical and stone fruits. Massive dry hopping with Mosaic, Citra, Ekuanot, and Idaho 7 delivers an intricate bouquet of ripe apricot, peach, and succulent mango. The palate follows suit with refreshing melon and zesty lime notes, underscored by a subtle, earthy dankness that provides depth. A specialized water profile enhances the softness of the malt bill, where protein-rich grains create a signature fluffy texture. It concludes with a gentle, cereal-like finish, balancing the vibrant fruit bomb character with effortless drinkability.

Appearance. Hazy to opaque with a brilliant golden-orange hue (5-6 SRM). Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with exceptional retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity aromatics lead with a complex blend of tropical mango and stone fruits like apricot and peach from Mosaic and Citra. Subtler notes of lime zest and a hint of piney dankness emerge from Ekuanot and Idaho 7. The malt remains in the background with a clean, neutral, grainy-sweet character.

Taste. An immediate wave of juicy fruit dominates the palate, mirroring the aroma with layers of mango, melon, and citrus lime. The hop bitterness is moderate but soft, never harsh, allowing the stone fruit flavors to linger. A light, bready malt foundation supports the hop intensity, finishing with a faint, clean cereal note and a touch of resinous dankness.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full, pillowy body with a notable creaminess and fluffy texture. Carbonation is moderate, enhancing the soft mouthfeel. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated at 6.5% ABV, with no astringency.

Garage – The Periphery. Aunque sus orígenes apenas se remontan 5 años ha (2015), los barceloneses Garage Beer Co ya se pueden considerar como uno de los puntales del movimiento craft nacional. Desde que en el 2015 se instalaran como un BrewPub en el barcelonés barrio del Eixample, se han situado como avanzadilla de la vanguardia birrera. Su crecimiento en los primeros años fue tan exponencial que, enseguida, en el 2017, ampliaron su producción con la construcción de una fábrica en Sant Andreu. Actualmente, ya figuran en un selecto grupo de breweries a nivel europeo. También lideran las tendencias del lúpulo y promueven festivales punteros como el Mash , donde participan los mejores cerveceras europeas y americanas. Garage – The Periphery es una nueva ración de NEIPA o IPA turbia de 6.5% de los barceloneses. Destaca su cuerpo pleno y cremoso debido a las propiedades proteicas de la malta y de un perfil de agua específicamente pensado para darle esponjosidad. Tras este telón salen a escena, vía Dry Hopping, el, Mosaic, el Citra, Idaho 7 y el Ekuanot. La función que nos tienen preparada está llena de frutas como el melocotón, el mango, el melón o la lima y de toques húmedos o dankys. Os recomendamos que cojáis ya vuestra entrada si no queréis quedaros sin verla.
