Soupita presents as a vibrant American IPA, capturing the essence of its lineage in a more delicate, sessionable frame. The aromatic profile is dominated by a punchy, fresh intensity featuring the classic pairing of Citra and Mosaic hops. This duo delivers layers of bright grapefruit, zesty lime, and a medley of tropical fruits including mango and passionfruit, underpinned by subtle notes of blueberry and pine. Its appearance is invitingly luminous with a persistent white head. On the palate, the assertive hop character is balanced by a lean, clean malt backbone, leading to a crisp, dry finish with a refreshing, well-integrated bitterness that invites another sip.

Appearance. Medium gold (6-8 SRM) with light haze allowable. Topped by a medium-sized white head with good persistence and light lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent citrus, tropical fruit, and berry notes driven by Citra and Mosaic. Subtle background of clean, grainy maltiness with a very low fermentation ester profile and no noticeable alcohol.

Taste. High hop flavor echoing the aroma with grapefruit, passionfruit, and stone fruit. Bitterness is medium-high to high but clean. Malt flavor is low and grainy, providing a neutral support. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, hoppy, and bitter aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture and no astringency. Carbonation is medium-high. Very clean with no alcohol warmth given the low gravity.

We started as a brewpub in 2015 in the Eixample neighborhood of Barcelona. In 2017 we opened our main brewery where most of our beers are brewed, though we still use the brewpub for our mixed fermentation beers. You can find us every day at Consell de Cent 261 and Calvell 45, Barcelona, where we’ll receive you with open arms and fresh beers!
