Shallows es una cerveza artesana de Garage Beer Co., una Doble IPA turbia y deliciosamente frutal. El uso de lúpulo Columbus aporta un trasfondo a pino que se complementa con los matices a fruta de hueso (melocotón y albaricoque), piña, pera y arándano proporcionados por las grandes dosis de lúpulos Mosaic T90, Mosaic BBC y Galaxy. NOTA DE CATA: Shallows presenta un atractivo color anaranjado, turbio, con una gruesa capa de espuma blanca de buena retención. Aromas a fruta tropical madura: melocotón, mango, pomelo, etc. En boca aparecen matices nuevamente a fruta tropical madura acompañados de un trasfondo a cereal y resina. Toques cítricos, amargor medio, cuerpo medio y textura sedosa. Una cerveza muy sabrosa y refrescante. 8,8% vol. / 44 cl. INGREDIENTES: Agua, malta de cebada , trigo , avena , lúpulo y levadura. RECOMENDACIONES: Servir a una temperatura en torno a 6 - 8ºC.

Garage – Shallows. Aunque sus orígenes apenas se remontan 5 años ha (2015), los barceloneses Garage Beer Co ya se pueden considerar como uno de los puntales del movimiento craft nacional. Desde que en el 2015 se instalaran como un BrewPub en el barcelonés barrio del Eixample, se han situado como avanzadilla de la vanguardia birrera. Su crecimiento en los primeros años fue tan exponencial que, enseguida, en el 2017, ampliaron su producción con la construcción de una fábrica en Sant Andreu. Actualmente, ya figuran en un selecto grupo de breweries a nivel europeo. También lideran las tendencias del lúpulo y promueven festivales punteros como el Mash , donde participan los mejores cerveceras europeas y americanas. Vuelven las brumas desde Barcelona. Garage – Shallows es un batidito de lúpulo licuado. Una Hazy Doble IPA de 8.8% con Columbus en la cocción y Mosaic T90, Mosaic BBC y Galaxy en el Dry Hopping. Todo ello se apoya sobre un turbio andamiaje de malta de trigo y cebada y un perfil de agua apropiado. Desde ahí se apuntalan los muros aromáticos llenos de fruta: mango, piña, albaricoque, pera y arándano.
