Malico is a vibrant, tropical interpretation of a Berliner Weisse, specifically designed for the humid heat of Barcelona. This "Barcelona Weisse" leads with a lush, sun-ripened mango pure that provides a fleshy depth, immediately countered by the sharp, electric zest of lime juice. A delicate, creamy whisper of coconut weaves through the mid-palate, softening the high lactic acidity inherent to the style. Built on a foundation of doughy wheat and Pilsner malt, the sensory profile remains ultra-refreshing and light. The finish is exceptionally crisp and dry, leaving a lingering trail of citrus pith and tropical stone fruit that beckons another sip.

Appearance. Pale golden-orange (4-6 SRM) with a slight haze from the fruit solids and wheat; features a large, white, dense head with poor retention and high effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity aromas of sharp lactic sourness combined with dominant tropical mango and zesty lime. A light, creamy coconut note provides a smooth backdrop to the raw bread dough and grainy wheat malt character. No hop aroma is present.

Taste. Initial impression is a clean, assertive lactic sourness that dominates the palate. Bright mango and tart lime flavors are front and center, supported by a subtle, complementary doughy wheat malt backbone. Hop bitterness is undetectable, with the acidic citrus providing the balance. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering tropical fruit aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Light body that remains refreshing rather than thin; very high carbonation provides a prickly, effervescent sensation. Features a crisp acidity and a smooth, almost creamy texture from the coconut addition, with no alcohol warmth.
