LACURA 25 is a vibrant Hazy IPA that celebrates the annual harvest with an explosion of fresh-hop character. Brewed with 80kg of freshly harvested Chinook cones, it delivers a unique aromatic layer where herbal and piney freshness meets a tropical wave of pineapple and bright citrus. The addition of Citra and Vic Secret during dry-hopping amplifies the juice-forward profile, offering a complex bouquet of stone fruit and passionfruit. Its creamy, opaque body supports a soft, low-bitterness finish that highlights the raw, resinous intensity of the whole-cone Chinook while maintaining the approachable, lush fruitiness essential to the style.
Appearance. Straw to deep gold (4-6 SRM); opaque, hazy appearance with a luminous shine. Pours with a thick, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and lacing.
Aroma. High intensity; dominant notes of fresh pineapple, grapefruit, and lemon zest from Citra and Vic Secret. The fresh Chinook provides a distinctive herbal, resinous, and slightly floral undercurrent. Low bready malt in the background; clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Explosion of tropical fruit including crushed pineapple and passionfruit, followed by bright citrus peel. The fresh-hop Chinook adds a subtle herbal complexity and a touch of pine. Malt flavor is low and bready. Bitterness is moderate but perceived as low-to-medium due to a soft, off-dry finish.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a smooth, silky texture. Moderate carbonation. No harshness or astringency; very light alcohol warmth integrated into the finish.
