Cornerless is a soulful Dark Mild that celebrates the depth of traditional British malt. Built upon a foundation of Maris Otter, this sessionable ale offers a robust profile of toasted bread crust and digestive biscuits. Seven distinct malts, including a duo of crystal and mildly roasted varieties, weave together intricate layers of unsweetened cocoa powder, decadent toffee, and dark raisins. While leaning toward the stronger side of the style at 4.5% ABV, it remains remarkably easy-drinking. A restrained carbonation level enhances the medium body, ensuring a smooth, effortless glide across the palate that concludes with a clean, malt-focused finish.

Appearance. Deep mahogany to dark brown in color with good clarity. Features a low to moderate tan head with fair retention and light lacing.

Aroma. Moderate malt intensity with a complex profile of toffee, caramel, and toasted bread. Subtle notes of dark fruit, primarily raisins, are present alongside light unsweetened cocoa and a very low earthy hop aroma.

Taste. Pronounced malt-forward flavor featuring a bready and biscuity Maris Otter base. Initial impressions of toffee and toasted bread crust transition into digestive biscuits and light chocolate. A delicate raisin fruitiness provides depth, balanced by low bitterness. The finish is clean and slightly dry with a lingering toasted grain aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly creamy texture. Low carbonation enhances the malt richness without becoming heavy. Negligible alcohol warmth and zero astringency.

Desde que en el 2015 se instalaran como un BrewPub en el barcelonés barrio del Eixample, se han situado como avanzadilla de la vanguardia birrera. Su crecimiento en los primeros años fue tan exponencial que, enseguida, en el 2017, ampliaron su producción con la construcción de una fábrica en Sant Andreu. Actualmente, ya figuran en un selecto grupo de breweries a nivel europeo. También lideran las tendencias del lúpulo y promueven festivales punteros como el Mash , donde participan los mejores cerveceras europeas y americanas.

La Mild es una cerveza oscura, pero muy suave. Con sólo 4.5% y mucho carácter británico tiene todos los matices de una cerveza oscura, pero con un trago largo y fácil.
