Garage Beer Co

This Hazy IPA presents a vibrant, tropical profile driven by heavy additions of Ekuanot, Cascade, and Sabro hops. The aroma is saturated with lime, papaya, and a distinct coconut-cream note from the Sabro, while the Cascade adds a bright grapefruit zest. The addition of lactose creates a velvety, plush texture that softens the low bitterness and amplifies the juicy perception of the hops. Each sip is defined by a lush, fruit-smoothie character, balancing sweet citrus with a hint of herbal complexity. It is an exceptionally smooth and aromatic ale that emphasizes hop saturation and a creamy finish over traditional hop bite.

Appearance. 4 SRM. Deep straw to light orange color. Opaque, hazy appearance with a soft, luminous glow. Topped by a dense, rocky, white head with high retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring tropical fruit, coconut, and citrus. Ekuanot provides notes of melon and lime, while Sabro introduces a creamy coconut and cedar character. Secondary aromas of grapefruit and light floral esters. Malt is low and neutral, presenting as grainy or lightly bready. No caramel or toast.

Taste. High fruity hop flavor mirroring the aroma with layers of mango, grapefruit, and coconut. Low to medium-low bitterness that is soft and never harsh. Low malt flavor, primarily neutral and doughy. Fermentation character is estery and supportive of the hops. The finish is medium and smooth with a lingering, juice-like aftertaste and a subtle sweet-cream note from the lactose.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a notable creaminess and soft, velvety texture. Moderate carbonation. Low alcohol warmth. Smooth and round on the palate with no astringency or hop burn.
