This collaborative Double IPA delivers an intense sensory experience driven by a potent combination of Citra, Strata, and Cryo HBC630 hops. The aroma is highly expressive, offering layers of ripe passion fruit, zesty grapefruit, and lush peach, grounded by a distinctively dank, cannabis-like edge and a touch of sweet cherry candy. A heavy addition of oats and wheat creates a remarkably soft, fluffy texture that carries the high hop saturation with ease. Despite its strength, the finish remains smooth and integrated, balancing the complex tropical and resinous hop character against a clean, supportive malt backdrop designed for drinkability.

Appearance. Pale gold to medium orange (6–9 SRM). Large, persistent, frothy white head with excellent lacing. Hazy to opaque appearance reflecting the heavy use of oats and wheat.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent tropical passion fruit, bright grapefruit, and stone fruit peach. Complex secondary notes of resinous, dank cannabis and a unique berry-like cherry candy. Low, neutral grainy malt presence with subtle bready notes and a clean fermentation profile.

Taste. Bold initial impression of tropical and citrus fruit. Flavors of peach and grapefruit lead into a complex mid-palate of dank resin and sweet berry. Bitterness is firm but smooth, avoiding harshness. Malt provides a soft, bready support without caramel sweetness. Finishes medium-dry with a lingering, fruit-forward hop aftertaste.

Mouthfeel. Medium-full, creamy, and fluffy body due to high oat and wheat protein content. Moderate carbonation. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth without solvent notes. Very low astringency with a smooth, velvety texture.

Garage – Lixula. Aunque sus orígenes apenas se remontan 5 años ha (2015), los barceloneses Garage Beer Co ya se pueden considerar como uno de los puntales del movimiento craft nacional. Desde que en el 2015 se instalaran como un BrewPub en el barcelonés barrio del Eixample, se han situado como avanzadilla de la vanguardia birrera. Su crecimiento en los primeros años fue tan exponencial que, enseguida, en el 2017, ampliaron su producción con la construcción de una fábrica en Sant Andreu. Actualmente, ya figuran en un selecto grupo de breweries a nivel europeo. También lideran las tendencias del lúpulo y promueven festivales punteros como el Mash , donde participan los mejores cerveceras europeas y americanas.

Con motivo de su paso por Barcelona, Garage se lía la manta la cabeza con uno de los pioneros del craft beer en EEUU: Brian Strumke de Stillwater Artesanal . Para la ocasión han elaborado una DIPA cremosa de 8%, hasta arriba de Citra, Strata y Cryo HBC630 que rezuma aromas a maracuyá, pomelo, melocotón y caramelo de cereza.
