This American IPA showcases a vibrant and modern hop profile driven by a trio of expressive varieties. Bru-1 leads the sensory experience with intense aromas of freshly cut pineapple and stone fruit, while Mosaic adds complexity through layers of blueberry and tropical mango. Cascade provides a classic foundation of grapefruit zest and subtle floral notes. Despite its approachable strength, the beer maintains the assertive bitterness and hop-forward balance characteristic of the style. A lean, crackery malt backbone supports the hop oils without adding weight, leading to a crisp, dry finish with a lingering resinous character.
Appearance. Medium gold with brilliant clarity and a thick, persistent white head that leaves decorative lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent pineapple, blueberry, and mango. Secondary notes of grapefruit and light pine resin are present. Malt is low and clean with a crackery character, supporting a neutral fermentation profile.
Taste. Immediate hop-forward flavors of tropical fruit and citrus pith. The pineapple from the Bru-1 and berry notes from the Mosaic are well-defined against a medium-high bitterness. Low grainy malt flavor provides a clean platform. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean bitterness.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth texture and moderate-high carbonation. No perceived alcohol warmth or astringency, resulting in a highly refreshing and crisp sensation.
