Stacker presents a vibrant sensory profile despite its sessionable 2.8% ABV. This Micro IPA highlights a sophisticated hop blend where Nelson Sauvin contributes distinct notes of crushed gooseberry and white wine grapes. Galaxy adds layers of passionfruit and citrus zest, while Mosaic provides a supporting base of mixed berries and tropical mango. The sensory experience is defined by these intense aromatics over a very lean, crackery malt backdrop. It captures the essence of an American IPA with its punchy bitterness and hop-saturated finish, delivered in a remarkably light and refreshing format that emphasizes high drinkability without sacrificing hop complexity.
Appearance. Pours a pale gold with a slight haze. Topped by a medium-sized, bright white head with moderate persistence and light lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of passionfruit and mango from Galaxy and Mosaic, complemented by the signature gooseberry and white wine character of Nelson Sauvin. Low, clean, grainy maltiness provides a neutral background with a clean fermentation profile.
Taste. Initial hop-forward impression of tropical fruit and citrus. Medium-high bitterness is firm but clean, highlighting the berry notes from Mosaic and the vinous, grape-like qualities of Nelson Sauvin. The malt flavor is low and cracker-like, leading into a dry, crisp finish with a lingering hoppy aftertaste.
