The aroma is a rich tapestry of bittersweet chocolate and espresso, interwoven with charred oak, vanilla, and a complex vinous tang from the red wine casks. On the palate, its viscous texture carries intense flavors of molasses, dark fruit leather, and a warming Bourbon spirit character. The finish is long and luxurious, balancing roasted grain bitterness with a subtle tannin structure and lingering dark cocoa, epitomizing the depth and harmony of a well-aged, high-gravity stout.

Appearance. Jet black (SRM 40+). Deep tan to dark brown head with low to moderate retention; high viscosity is visible through thick legs on the glass. Opaque.

Aroma. High intensity. Rich, deep roast character suggesting espresso and bittersweet chocolate. Strong barrel-derived vanilla, coconut, and toasted oak from the Bourbon, combined with a vinous, red grape ester profile from the wine casks. Notes of black currants and figs.

Taste. Intense and complex. Initial impression of sweet molasses and dark chocolate followed by heavy roasted grain and black licorice.
