This Hazy IPA from Galotia Brewing showcases a vibrant, tropical profile driven by a classic trio of Mosaic, Simcoe, and Cascade hops. A grist featuring Pale malt, wheat, and oats provides a soft, structural foundation that amplifies the juicy character. Expect a sensory burst of ripe mango, passionfruit, and bright citrus zest on the nose, transitioning into a lush, velvety palate. The bitterness remains restrained, allowing the resinous pine and floral notes to shine through a hazy, sun-drenched appearance. It concludes with a smooth, off-dry finish that emphasizes drinkability while maintaining a complex, hop-forward intensity characteristic of the East Coast style.

Appearance. Pale gold (approximately 5 SRM) with a heavy, opaque haze that creates a luminous shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, white meringue-like head with excellent retention and thick lacing.

Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring distinct notes of tropical mango and blueberry from the Mosaic, supported by earthy pine and passionfruit from the Simcoe. Cascade adds a layer of bright grapefruit and floral citrus. The malt presence is low, providing a clean, lightly bready and grainy backdrop from the wheat and oats.

Taste. Initial impression is a wave of juicy tropical fruit and citrus. Malt flavors are low, offering a soft, bready support. Hop flavors mirror the aroma with prominent stone fruit and resinous undertones. Perceived bitterness is low to moderate, well-integrated and never harsh, balancing the fruitiness. The finish is off-dry and smooth with a lingering, pleasant fruity aftertaste.
