At 10.2% ABV, the aroma is a concentrated fusion of bittersweet chocolate, toasted biscuit, and creamy toffee, underscored by faint notes of dark plum. The palate is profoundly full-bodied and velvety, delivering intense flavors of espresso and scorched sugar that meld seamlessly with a lingering, sweet confectionery finish. The interplay between roasted malt bitterness and the lush, sugary depth creates a harmonious, dessert-like complexity that remains sophisticated despite its immense scale and high alcohol content.

Appearance. Opaque jet black (40 SRM). Pours with a thick, creamy, deep tan head with moderate retention. High viscosity is evident, leaving noticeable legs on the glass surface.

Aroma. High intensity. Pronounced scents of dulce de leche, vanilla, and caramel dominate, followed by deep roasted notes of dark chocolate and espresso. Subtle esters of raisin and fig are present, alongside a clean but noticeable alcohol warmth.

Taste. Initial impression is one of rich, creamy sweetness reminiscent of caramel-filled shortbread. The mid-palate reveals heavy roasted grain, bittersweet cocoa, and black coffee. Hop bitterness is moderate but provides a necessary structural counterpoint to the sugary dulce de leche. The finish is long and warming, balancing roasted char with lingering toffee and a hint of biscuit.
