This Irish Red Ale presents an inviting profile defined by its intense amber hue and rich toasted caramel character. The aroma is led by prominent notes of toffee and lightly scorched grain, grounded by a clean, neutral fermentation profile. On the palate, an initial wave of malt sweetness gives way to a characteristic grainy-biscuity mid-palate, eventually finishing with the trademark dryness of roasted barley. Despite its slightly higher alcohol content for the style, it remains exceptionally approachable with a light bitterness that ensures a balanced, crisp conclusion. Taste. Initial soft caramel malt sweetness and toffee-like flavors. The palate moves toward a neutral, grainy profile with light toasty notes. Finishes with a light taste of roasted grain which lends a characteristic dryness. Bitterness is medium-low, providing balance without dominating the malt. Clean and smooth aftertaste.
