Fuzz Bold Rooster is a formidable 'Super' strength Blonde Saison that bridges rustic tradition with modern intensity. At 9% ABV, it presents a complex tapestry of spicy Belgian yeast phenols, reminiscent of cracked black pepper, woven into a bright bouquet of pome fruit and citrus esters. The continental hops add a delicate floral and earthy layer, grounding the high-gravity profile. Despite its potency, the beer maintains the signature dry, highly attenuated finish expected of a Saison, leaving a lingering, spicy warmth and a soft, grainy malt backbone that honors its Walloon farmhouse heritage with a refined, effervescent elegance.

Appearance. Pale gold to deep orange (5–8 SRM). Large, dense, rocky white head with excellent retention and significant Belgian lace. Unfiltered with a slight, characteristic haze and visible effervescence.

Aroma. High intensity aromatic profile featuring a mix of fruity esters like pear and lemon zest against a spicy, peppery phenolic backdrop. Low to moderate continental hop character provides floral and earthy notes, while the malt offers a light, grainy sweetness. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth.

Taste. Initial impression is sharp and dry. Moderate to high bitterness is accentuated by very high attenuation. Grainy malt flavor is medium-low, quickly overtaken by dominant yeast character of black pepper and citrus. Finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering spicy, bitter aftertaste and a clean, warming alcoholic presence.

Mouthfeel. Medium-low body, significantly lighter than the high ABV would suggest due to attenuation. Very high carbonation providing an effervescent, prickly sensation. Noticeable but smooth alcohol warmth without harshness.
