Expect a bright sensory experience dominated by aggressive notes of grapefruit zest, resinous pine, and ripe tropical fruit. At 7.2% ABV, the beer maintains a lean, clean malt backbone that provides just enough structure to support the intense bitterness. The aroma is punchy and floral, leading into a crisp, bone-dry finish that emphasizes its refreshing qualities. It is a modern showcase of classic American hop character, delivering a high-impact, resinous bite and a lingering, citrusy aftertaste.
Appearance. Medium gold to light amber (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a thick, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent citrus, resinous pine, and a hint of stone fruit. Low, clean, grainy malt sweetness provides a neutral base. Fermentation is very clean with no notable esters.
Taste. The initial impression is a burst of sharp citrus and pine resin. Medium-high hop bitterness is immediate but not harsh, supported by a low, toasty malt presence. The finish is very dry and crisp, with a lingering bitterness and echoes of tropical fruit in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, slightly oily texture from hop oils. Moderate to high carbonation provides a crisp bite. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at 7.2% ABV.
