Future Brewing West Coast Cool reimagines the classic German Pils through a modern lens, balancing traditional crispness with a punchy dry-hop profile. The sensory experience is led by the vibrant, tropical impact of Krush and Nectaron hops, which impart intense notes of passionfruit, mango, and stone fruit over a lean, cracker-like malt base. This brilliant gold lager remains rooted in its heritage with a clean fermentation and a sharp, refreshing bitterness that cuts through the fruit-forward aromatics. It finishes exceptionally dry and crisp, showcasing a refined hop-forward character that bridges the gap between European tradition and West Coast innovation.
Appearance.Straw to deep yellow (3 SRM); brilliant clarity with a creamy, long-lasting white head and excellent lacing.
Aroma.Moderately high intensity; forward notes of tropical mango and guava from Krush hops, blended with stone fruit and citrus aromatics from Nectaron. Secondary notes of grainy-sweet, toasted cracker malt and a clean, neutral fermentation profile.
Taste.Initial impression is a brief flash of doughy Pilsner malt, quickly overtaken by intense hop flavors of pineapple and peach. Medium-high bitterness provides a firm, sharp structure. The finish is very dry and crisp with a lingering, clean hop bitterness and mineral quality.
Mouthfeel.Medium-light body with high carbonation. Crisp and refreshing without any harshness; subtle minerally sharpness that enhances the dry finish. No perceived alcohol warmth.
