This American IPA embodies the classic West Coast spirit with a contemporary dry-hopped edge. A vibrant collision of Citra and Mosaic delivers pungent layers of blueberry resin and zesty citrus, while Simcoe provides a grounding backbone of sharp pine. The addition of Nectaron introduces a modern twist of overripe tropical fruit and stone fruit intensity. Built on a lean, clean malt foundation, the profile remains exceptionally bright and hop-focused. The finish is decisively dry and crisp, emphasizing a firm bitterness that lingers pleasantly without any heavy sweetness, showcasing a sophisticated balance of classic resinous depth and New World fruit vibrancy.
Appearance. Bright medium gold (approx. 7 SRM) with brilliant clarity. Pours with a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward bouquet featuring prominent notes of grapefruit peel, dank resin, and fresh pine needles. Subtle berry-like esters and tropical stone fruit are balanced by a very low, clean, grainy malt presence. Fermentation profile is exceptionally clean.
Taste. Initial hop impact is citrusy and resinous, followed by flavors of passion fruit and overripe peach. Bitterness is firm and high, cutting through a minimal, toasted grain malt backbone. The finish is very dry and crisp with a long, clean, resinous aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a smooth, crisp texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a refreshing bite. Alcohol warmth is light and well-integrated, with no astringency or harshness in the finish.
