This Hazy IPA presents a lush, tropical tapestry driven by a double dry-hopped profile of Citra, Motueka, and Riwaka. Intense aromas of sweet tangerine and lime zest lead into a saturated palate of passionfruit and crushed citrus. The Citra provides a solid foundation of pulpy orange, while the New Zealand varieties, Motueka and Riwaka, contribute bright mojito-like lime and tropical diesel notes. A soft, bready malt presence supports the hop intensity without adding weight, resulting in a pillowy, juicy experience. The finish is remarkably smooth, with a restrained bitterness that allows the vibrant fruit character to linger elegantly.
Appearance. Hazy and opaque golden-yellow (5 SRM) with a luminous shine; topped by a thick, meringue-like white head with high retention and delicate lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop-forward aroma featuring sweet citrus, lime zest, and passionfruit; secondary notes of peach esters and a very low, clean, bready malt background.
Taste. Explodes with juicy tropical fruit and sweet citrus flavors including orange and lime; low to medium bitterness that is well-integrated and never harsh; finishes off-dry with a lingering fruity aftertaste and neutral fermentation character.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full, soft, and pillowy body with medium carbonation; smooth texture without any hop astringency or harshness; a light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present.
