Future Brewing Ton Up
Ton Up is a saturated and celebratory Triple IPA that delivers a lush, sensory-forward experience. This hazy powerhouse showcases a triple dry-hopped profile led by the stonefruit intensity of Peacharine and the lime-zest brightness of Motueka. Distinctive notes of crushed gooseberry from Nelson and passionfruit from Galaxy create a complex tropical bouquet. Despite its 10% strength, the malt character remains a soft, supportive backdrop, allowing sweet citrus and ripe mango flavors to dominate. The mouthfeel is notably creamy and full, balancing a firm bitterness with a velvety texture that lingers through a fruit-laden, hop-saturated finish.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange (6-9 SRM). Opaque, hazy appearance with a thick, persistent, creamy white head that leaves heavy lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity. Dominated by ripe stonefruit (peach, nectarine), tropical notes of passionfruit and guava, and a sharp citrus-lime edge. Underlying hints of white grape and crushed gooseberry. Malt is low and neutral, providing a light bready sweetness. Fermentation is clean with very low esters beyond the massive hop profile.
Taste. Immediate explosion of sweet citrus and tropical fruit. Strong flavors of peach and apricot lead into a complex mid-palate of melon and grape. Hop bitterness is firm but smooth, lacking harshness. Malt is supportive and soft, like pale dough or flour. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering, resinous fruit saturation and a clean alcohol presence.
Mouthfeel. Full-bodied and viscous with a soft, lush, and creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. Noticeable but well-integrated alcohol warmth provides a gentle glow without being solventy. Very low astringency despite the heavy dry-hopping.

Always focused on improving and maintaining the attitude that we can always do better. Ton Up is triple dry hopped with some of our favourite hops right now. Peacharine and Motueka start with all the tropical fruit and sweet citrus followed up by the stonefruit and lush tropical fruit bowl of Nelson and Galaxy. This one is a real treat!
