Future Brewing’s Jungle Juice is a quintessential Hazy IPA, defined by an aggressive double dry hopping regimen. The trio of Citra, Nelson, and Galaxy hops creates a vibrant sensory landscape teeming with ripe citrus, passionfruit, and white grape. This hop profile is further deepened by layers of lush tropical stonefruit and peach. A soft, pillowy malt base provides a neutral stage for these intense aromatics, ensuring the focus remains entirely on the fruit-forward hop expression. The result is a smooth, juicy experience that balances high hop intensity with a restrained bitterness and a plush, satisfying finish.
Appearance. Pours a hazy, opaque deep straw to golden yellow (4-6 SRM) with a brilliant matte shine. Topped by a dense, rocky, meringue-like white head with excellent retention and thick, clingy lacing.
Aroma. High intensity aromatics lead with ripe mango, passionfruit, and crushed lime from the Citra and Galaxy. Subtler notes of white wine grape and gooseberry from the Nelson emerge alongside hints of peach and apricot. The malt remains in the background as a clean, lightly bready note with no caramel or toast.
Taste. Explodes with flavors of tropical fruit nectar and sweet citrus. The initial impression is juicy and fruit-forward, transitioning into layers of complex stonefruit. Hop bitterness is moderate-low and exceptionally smooth, never harsh. A clean, neutral malt profile supports the hop-saturated finish, which lingers with a light, off-dry sweetness and fruity esters.
Mouthfeel. Medium-full body with a soft, creamy, and pillowy texture. Carbonation is moderate, contributing to a smooth mouthfeel without any harshness or astringency. A very light, well-integrated alcohol warmth is present at the finish.
