Future Brewing Eazy Breezy
American Pale Ale 5.5 º
This modern American Pale Ale is a vibrant showcase of New Zealand hop intensity. The aroma is dominated by the punchy character of Eggers Riwaka, bursting with notes of passionfruit and pink grapefruit. Freestyle Motueka and Motueka SubZero HopKief contribute layers of bright lime zest and concentrated tropical citrus oils. A base of neutral pale malts provides a soft, bready foundation that supports the double dry-hopped saturation without competing for attention. It pours with a soft haze, delivering a clean yet intensely fruity profile that balances moderate bitterness with a refreshing, citrus-forward finish.
Appearance. Pale straw to light golden (5 SRM). Pours with a hazy appearance and a moderately large, frothy white head with excellent retention and significant lacing.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring dominant tropical passionfruit and crushed lime. Subtle notes of lemon peel and fresh grass follow. The malt character is low and neutral, offering a light doughy and bready quality. Very low fermentation esters are present but largely overshadowed by the hop-derived tropical notes.
Taste. Initial impression is a burst of citrus and tropical fruit. Strong flavors of lime and grapefruit zest lead into a supportive, medium-low bready malt sweetness. Bitterness is moderate, providing structure without being harsh. The fermentation profile is clean. The finish is medium-dry with a lingering aftertaste of citrus oils.
Mouthfeel. Medium-light body with a soft, slightly creamy texture. Carbonation is moderate. No perceived alcohol warmth at 5.5% ABV. Smooth and highly drinkable with no astringency.
