Future Brewing Big Three is a powerhouse Double IPA that showcases an intense Southern Hemisphere hop profile. Featuring the prestigious New Zealand trio of Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, and Motueka, this Triple IPA variant explodes with sensory cues of crushed white grapes, pungent passionfruit, and zesty lime. The use of SubZero Hop Kief amplifies the tropical intensity, delivering a saturated fruit character without harshness. A supportive, neutral malt base allows the complex interplay of gooseberry and subtle diesel notes to shine. Despite its strength, the finish remains remarkably smooth and soft, balancing high bitterness with a lush, velvety texture and a clean, warming glow.
Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper with a moderate-sized, persistent white head and heavy lacing. While traditionally clear, this modern triple dry-hopped version exhibits a soft, uniform haze.
Aroma. Intense hop intensity featuring Nelson Sauvin's signature white wine, gooseberry, and crushed grape notes, alongside Riwaka's pungent passionfruit and Motueka's distinct mojito-lime character. Malt is neutral and supportive in the background with a clean fermentation profile and light, smooth alcohol.
Taste. Strong and complex hop flavors of lime, passionfruit, and vinous tropical fruit dominate the initial impression. A clean, soft, and unobtrusive bready malt character supports the high hop bitterness, which remains smooth rather than harsh. It finishes dry to medium-dry with a lingering aftertaste of citrus resin and tropical fruit.
