Verge is a bold collaboration between Funky Fluid and Threshold Brewing, showcasing a contemporary take on the Double IPA. This 8% ABV ale is defined by a specific hop trio: Strata, HBC 630, and Crosby Hops' Belma. The sensory profile is headlined by a distinctive strawberry and cherry fusion, derived from the unique synergy of these varieties. Strata provides underlying tropical depth, while Belma and HBC 630 drive the signature red fruit character. The result is a highly saturated hop experience that balances modern fruit intensity with the requisite strength and bitterness of the style, finishing clean and surprisingly approachable.

Appearance. Pours a deep gold to light orange-copper with a moderate haze. It is topped by a persistent, medium-sized white head that leaves consistent lacing as it recedes.

Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of ripe strawberry, sweet cherry, and melon. Subtle tropical hints of passionfruit and a touch of resinous dankness are present. The malt character is neutral and grainy, providing a clean background that allows the fruity hop esters and clean fermentation profile to shine.
