This West Coast IPA delivers an intense, hop-forward experience inspired by California's brewing tradition. A complex hop bill featuring Citra, Simcoe, Mosaic, Azacca, and Tomahawk creates a vibrant sensory profile defined by bright grapefruit, ripe mango, and resinous pine. The aromatic intensity is matched by a firm, clean bitterness that cuts through the subtle, grainy malt backdrop. A lean body and a crisp, dry finish ensure high drinkability while allowing the diverse tropical and stone fruit characters to linger. It captures the essence of the American IPA with its brilliant clarity and aggressive yet balanced hop presence.
Appearance. Medium gold to light reddish-amber in color with brilliant clarity. Topped by a medium-sized, persistent white head that leaves significant lacing on the glass.
Aroma. High intensity hop aroma featuring prominent notes of grapefruit zest, resinous pine, and tropical layers of mango and passionfruit. A low, clean, grainy maltiness supports the hops without competing. Fermentation profile is very clean.
Taste. Strong hop flavors of citrus, pine, and stone fruit dominate from the first sip. A low, grainy-sweet malt character provides a brief foundation before being overtaken by a firm, medium-high bitterness. The finish is dry and crisp with a lingering hoppy and bitter aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, non-astringent texture. Carbonation is medium-high, providing a lively mouthfeel. A very light, smooth alcohol warmth is present but well-integrated.
