Appearance. Deep gold to light orange-copper (7-10 SRM) with a moderate-sized, persistent, off-white head. Clarity is generally good, though a slight hop haze is acceptable for the style.
Aroma. Intensity is high, dominated by tropical fruit and berry notes. Specific aromas of mango and sweet cherries from the Azacca and Idaho Gem hops are prominent. A low, neutral, grainy maltiness sits in the background, supported by a clean fermentation profile and a hint of smooth alcohol.
Taste. The initial impression is an explosion of tropical fruit and stone fruit flavors. Prominent mango and cherry hop notes are supported by a clean, unobtrusive malt character. Bitterness is moderately high and firm but lacks harshness. The finish is dry to medium-dry with a lingering, snappy hop bitterness and clean aftertaste.
Mouthfeel. Medium body with a smooth, velvety texture. Carbonation is medium-high. A noticeable but well-restrained alcohol warmth provides a pleasant glow without being solventy or hot.
